BUILDING PROTECTION

In road construction and repair, we deliver permanently stable, long-lasting road surfaces, from the base course to the asphalt surface. Our specialised techniques such as SAMI interlayers, interlayer bonding, sealing of hydraulically bound base layers (HBB), asphalt reinforcement and edge sealing ensure that all layers are perfectly matched to one another and withstand the highest loads.
By employing modern equipment, high-quality bitumen emulsions and precise workmanship, we build road structures that avoid cracking, reliably drain water and significantly extend the service life of the entire road.

Bausion®-Flex

Bausion-Flex is ideal for coating the roofs of garden sheds and garages. It is also ideal for repair and maintenance work on bituminous sealing surfaces. Particularly noteworthy are its applications on flat roofs, wall connections, and building transitions.

Bausion-Flex is a bitumen-latex emulsion and is therefore environmentally friendly. It contains no solvents (in accordance with HRepA) and can thus be safely applied in enclosed spaces—though not in living areas.
Once fully cured, Bausion-Flex is watertight and resistant to both cold and heat.
Bausion-Flex provides reliable protection for your structure against moisture and other weather conditions, as well as against standing water, seepage, condensation, and ground moisture.
When Bausion-Flex is applied in conjunction with a fleece reinforcement layer, any cracks that form can be easily bridged.
After stirring, Bausion-Flex is applied to the damaged areas using a soft broom, roller, block brush, or sprayer and distributed evenly.
Bausion-Flex is applied in two coats. A fleece reinforcement layer is required for areas subject to heavy stress or prone to cracking. The entire coating becomes weather-resistant after a drying time of 12–15 hours per coat. Dried Bausion-Flex and Bausion-Elastic can be removed using ESTOL-Ultra-Clean, gasoline, turpentine, or similar solvents.
Bausion-Flex is supplied in 30 kg metal containers. Bausion-Flex has a shelf life of six months in its original, sealed container. Store in a cool, dry, and frost-free place; do not store outdoors.

Estol® Estolan 2 K

Production of waterproof, rapid-setting insulation layers for foundations, tanks, and basins. Waterproofing of balconies and terraces against rising damp. Structural waterproofing against pressurized and non-pressurized water, and bonding of perimeter insulation.

ESTOL-Estolan 2 K is a fiber-reinforced, two-component bituminous waterproofing compound.
ESTOL-Estolan 2 K is solvent-free (in accordance with HRepA) and environmentally friendly.
- It is highly elastic due to fiber and polymer additives.
- It exhibits high sag resistance on vertical surfaces.
- It becomes rain-resistant after a short time.
- It is tested according to DIN 18195 and holds a building authority test certificate.
- It is resistant to salt solutions and weak acids.
The surface to be treated must be load-bearing, clean, and largely dry. Voids or recesses in the masonry must be leveled out. Absorbent substrates must be treated with ESTOLAN primer. The second component is mixed homogeneously into the bitumen compound using a suitable mixer (e.g., a power drill).
Application in two stages is generally recommended. In the first stage, the material is applied using an 8 mm notched trowel. Once the first layer has dried thoroughly, the second layer is applied using a smooth finishing trowel.
If required, the reinforcement mesh is embedded during the application of the second layer. Any slip layer used to protect the waterproofing system must not exert point loads on the waterproofing. The application temperature should be between +5°C and +25°C. The pot life is at least one hour, depending on the application temperature.
Store in a frost-free environment—whether in warehouses, sales areas, or on the construction site. Can be stored for six months without inspection.

Estol® - Silolack

ESTOL-Silolack is used as a bituminous insulating and protective coating for structural waterproofing. Concrete and plastered surfaces are suitable substrates.

ESTOL-Silolack is a black, cold-applied bituminous insulating coating.
ESTOL-Silolack is:
- solvent-based
- tar-free
- brushable at ambient temperature
- suitable for concrete, plaster, and roofing membranes
- suitable for drinking water reservoirs.
ESTOL Silo Coating is applied to concrete or plastered surfaces by spraying or brushing. The substrate must be clean, dry, and free of loose particles.
We recommend applying multiple coats.
Ensure that each coat is completely dry before applying the next.
If applying by spray, the airless method should be used.

Consumption
1 topcoat: 200 – 300 g/m²
2 topcoats: 400 – 500 g/m²
3 topcoats: 500 – 600 g/m²
We supply ESTOL silo coating in 5, 10, and 30-liter metal containers. Pallets hold 56, 45, or 16 containers, respectively.
ESTOL silo coating has a shelf life of one year when stored in sealed containers.
